-article by Chris Wolfe Editor-in-Chief This spring, the Photo Club will host its first, and hopefully not last, art show, featuring the members of BHS’ Photo Club. The show, which will be held at Arabica Coffeehouse on Pearl Road near Hickory Ridge, will be one of the first and only of its kind within the City of Brunswick. This show will help to show off emerging photographic talent within the Greater Brunswick area, with pieces both for sale and for viewing only. The event will hopefully raise some revenue for our club, and the artist will get to keep a majority of the profit. To ensure that you are able to display your photography, please sign up as soon as possible for your booth—space is limited. But if you do not get in this show, prepare for a possible show at the Brunswick Town Center late in the school year. The Photo Club is currently in talks with both Brunswick City Council and the Brunswick ArtWorks to try and develop a show for students (and citizens) to show off their artistic works, specifically for sale. Please stay tuned to The Snapshot for updates on both of these exciting opportunities for the BHS Photo Club!
