Happy New Year! As I look back at 2004, I realize what an awesome club we are becoming! We have many new members who have ideas and energy— a powerful combination. We have achieved several things we should be proud of: an amazing newsletter, reaching 150+ people per month, a great field trip, a school beautification project, much learning, a successful fundraiser, visibility in the community, and a lot of great, artistic & creative photography! As we look ahead to 2005, setting and reaching some new and exciting goals will be at hand. I’m looking forward to working with our group on putting together a Photo Show where all members will have the opportunity to display their work. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with in-and out-of school organizations to help us achieve our goals. Fundraising and the darkroom are in process, with money being earned, materials being brought, and a plan being constructed. I continue to look forward to working with the club on learning about the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography, and taking more field trips to do so. As always, I look forward to member and non-member ideas and input. I am very proud of Photo Club and their hard work and commitment. I appreciate all of you and your patience over the first half of this year, with having gotten married, taking a honeymoon, building a house, and currently selling our home. A lot is going to happen as we focus our collective energy into Photo Club in 2005—get excited! Please don’t hesitate to come and talk with me about anything! Have a great New Year!
Sincerely,
Kelly LaForge
