-article by Deb Bitzan Darkroom Representative Welcome back guys, I know you are all just so excited to be in school again. Here is the rundown on our current darkroom situation: Things are moving slow, but steady. We finally have the gears in motion, and our darkroom is well on its way to becoming a fully functional, and usable asset. Mrs. LaForge and I have discussed getting a professional involved, just to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. If anyone is willing to volunteer their time and efforts to constructing the darkroom, please feel free to step in and contribute--- we're all just amateurs here. For the time being, Mrs. LaForge and I are looking into local photo labs, as well as a place that may even let us use their darkroom, to develop our prints. This would be a great opportunity for the club, and hopefully we will find a willing lab that can help us. Last but not least, a word to the wise. Do not get your photos developed at Walgreens One Hour Photo or Rite Aid One Hour Photo. Awful things have occurred, all of which I was forced to observe. Take your photos to Wal-Mart, or on the other hand, somewhere that is not those two places. You'll be wasting your time, and money. Until next month...
Sincerely,
Deb Bitzan photodarkroomdb@yahoo.com
