LAUREN LIPOVIC ASSISTANT EDITOR
After an extremely long winter in the Cleveland area and the nation as a whole, we are finally seeing the first signs of spring; birds chirping, flowers blooming, and growing activity in our neighbors; all events that stimulate beautiful photography. Fortunately, those record-breaking snowstorms and noteworthy cold fronts have passed and are now replaced by moderate, sunny days. Spring Break has also just ended and now all of our excitement is drawn towards the upcoming Summer Break, although I am sure that we can all agree that it never comes soon enough. I hope that everyone encountered some great picture-taking opportunities over break. Whether you traveled to some exotic beach or just stayed home in Brunswick, there is always something interesting to capture in that camera lens. With that being said, our show is coming up just around the corner and I hope everyone has plenty of photographs for their selection. This event truly reflects the work of the club and is currently moving towards success. The Snapshot’s first birthday was also a success! Everyone enjoyed the ice cream cake, thanks to Mrs. LaForge, and the exciting atmosphere that filled the room. Photo Club really has become an influence to many and it has made our school and community proud in many ways, and I would just like to congratulate everyone on your efforts so far this year! I hope that everyone will continue to be active or decide to become more active with the upcoming construction of the darkroom this spring!
Sincerely,
Lauren Lipovic photoassteditor@yahoo.com
