Prompt: Is the new CMA expansion necessary in today’s competitive art society, or should we preserve the museum as it is now?
I believe the expansion of the CMA is almost necessary to compete with larger museums around the country. Although the museum will have to be closed for a while, I believe in the end, expanding the CMA will greatly benefit Cleveland as well as the art world. -DEB BITZAN
Even though it will be sad to see one of Cleveland’s greatest assets closed for an extended period, the CMA’s expansion is extremely necessary in today’s day and age. With this expansion, Cleveland’s Museum of Art will become even more of a world destination for an amazing art experience, and will steer Cleveland in the right direction to becoming a city devoted to The Arts. -CHRIS WOLFE
